Perigee Super Moon 2016

Perigee Super Moon 2016

I woke up to catch the perigee super moon setting over the Pacific Ocean at 5:00 AM this morning.  It was an incredible sight and the silence of an early Sunday morning made me think I might be the only one paying attention to this spectacular show.  The Moon hasn’t been this close to the Earth since January 6th, 1948 and won’t be again until November 25th, 2034.
